about the artist
 

I was born in Arizona, began my artistic development in New Mexico, grew my talents in the Midwest, was fed design material by the Pacific Ocean and now soak up the AZ sunrises and sunsets with my husband and three beautiful children.  I am inspired by what I've known and by what I imagine.

 I love to learn new forms of art, and quite often, I learn how to do something when someone asks me if i can do it. I love the challenge. I love to make things, especially if i can take something old, and make it something new. I live for getting my hands dirty, and that feeling of accomplishment when I finish a project. I often cant find the right words to express what I think or feel, so Art allows me to get it all out.

What I love about art is that its beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Something I hate, someone else will love, and something I love someone else may hate. But I believe that every piece of art IS ART, wether or not I like it means nothing. You are an artist when you decide to be an artist, you are a GREAT artist when you believe in yourself!
